@30hrtzBASS This is not supposed to be humorous. Who cares if the bible doesn't talk about eight days. All the rest of the talk makes perfect sense, which may I say you don't. It's the American farmer that? sacrifices many things to keep your food prices from being even higher than they are.

this actually made? me tear up, thank you to all the farmers out there! as someone who's grown up riding horses and being on farms, I know how much work it is! it really is a 24/7 job, thank god we have people out there willing to do it!

But this is a tribute to farmers and all the hard work they do to provide food for morons like you. Be thankful you have food on your table, it's because of hard working people that you don't have to go hungry at night. Next time you want to bad mouth me, get your facts straight.

I wish to thank Paul Harvey for this inspirirational video, on Wednesday, our farm family buried, my father Allister W. Ferguson, a 96 year? old retired farmer, he was part of five generations of Fergusons' who made a living from the land and always tried to leave the land in feritle and ready to produce . Thanks be to God for all the Farmers of the World. Hard Work and more hard work.

@tinydancer1965 I'm? an atheist, but I enjoyed the sentiment of this video. I work on a horse ranch, which isn't quite a farm but its close, so I know what Harvey is talking about.

I wanted to send ...
I wanted to send this? to my neighbour (who is a farmer), up untill the last part where he mentions his son wants to do what his Dad does. For whatever his reasons are, his son does not want to be a farmer. I wished this video remained a tribute just to the farmer. Not knowing if I may stir something, I'll have to send this tribute to families who qualify? I would like that last part edited out so I can forward this tribute to ALL farmers. If you ate today, thank a farmer.

What a great tribute to the men and women who produce food and fiber in this country! I'd especially like to dedicate this to the growers/shippers of the? industry I work for and the four generations of growers in my family - past and present!

I grew up on a farm ...
I grew up on a farm in central Oklahoma, spent my summers going in circles around the fields, not in circles around the mall. That is where I learned what hard work really? was, from both my parents. We quit farming when I was in junior high, but of all the times in my life, that is where I would go back to. Thank you to the makers of this video, and to the narrative by Paul Harvey. My dad and I listened to him every day on the radio on the way to lunch.

Cool video. I'm not a farmer, but I have worked on a few farms over the years, albeit not for? some time. I like the message here, at least, the tribute to farmers. But, with the risk of offending, we should maybe consider that it was the human that created "god" and not the other way around...

It's nice to see the support that farmers get in the U.S.A., here in Canada we can only dream about it. Our meager ag budgets are cut every year, we have no subsidy and onlya weak, very weak program that is a one size fits all phasing out bunch of crap. The only province here that has any real support and tons of subsidy is Quebec, the rest of us in Canada are? dropping like flies. I wish I was in the U.S of A.
